The UAE is home to some of the biggest and most exciting events in the region, with plenty to look forward to in the next month. From comedy shows to music festivals, there's something for everyone.

Sikka Art & Design Festival: February 24 - March 5

Dubai Culture's flagship initiative, Sikka Art & Design Festival, is celebrating 11 years of remarkable creativity and inspiration from February 24 to March 5. Artists from the UAE and all over the GCC will come together to decorate Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood with works that speak to the future and orchestrate a visionary experience.

 


Dubai International Boat Show: March 1-5 

The 2023 edition of the Dubai International Boat Show will take place at Dubai Harbour.

Get up close to some of the world’s biggest and most glamorous yachts. You can also explore the latest technology and designs on display.

 



Middle East Film & Comic Con 2023: March 3-5

The 11th edition of the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) will return to the UAE capital bringing together the best of what pop-culture has to offer.

Stars featuring at this year's event include Matt Smith (House of Dragons / Doctor Who), Andy Serkis (Lord of The Rings / Planet of The Apes / Star Wars / Black Panther / Batman) and Jamie Campbell Bower (Stranger Things / Twilight / Harry Potter).

 



Rewind Festival: March 4

REWIND is the UK’s biggest 80s and 90s-themed festival attracting thousands of fans every year. For the first time ever the pop nostalgia festival is heading to Dubai. 

Iconic artists from back in the day will take to the stage at Bla Bla Dubai, The Beach - JBR.

Heather Small (M-People), Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Mark Almond (Soft Cell), Heaven 17, Go West, Nick Heyward, Altered Images and T'Pau will perform at the one-day event. 


 

Wireless Festival Middle East: March 11

The UK’s number one "urban music festival" Wireless, is making its debut in Abu Dhabi.

The celebration of beats showcases the best artists from cutting-edge musical genres such as hip-hop, grime, electronica, trip-hop, trap and afro beats.

The one-day festival is taking place at Etihad Park. 

 



Sheikh Zayed Festival: Until March 11  

The Sheikh Zayed Festival is a cultural festival that celebrates the authentic noble values of Emirati society and pass on their pride and honour to future generations and the whole world.

The festival will include over 4,000 events in addition to 750 major public performances and activities over 120 days filled with joy, entertainment and culture. 

 



The Script: March 18

The Script have been all around the world this year with their ‘Greatest Hits Tour’, celebrating a journey that so far includes six UK #1 albums, six billion streams and over two million ticket sales.

The show consists of classic cuts from the trio’s catalogue, taking in the likes of the #1 smash Hall Of Fame (featuring will.i.am) and the top 10 hits The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, For The First Time and Superheroes.

The band will be performing as part of McGettigan’s 'The Ultimate St. Patrick’s Music Festival' at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre.

 



Demi Lovato: March 18

Celebrated American singer, songwriter and actress Demi Lovato is all set for her Dubai debut, taking to the Coca-Cola Arena stage on March 18.

She has numerous accolades including a platinum-certified single Skyscraper, 14 Teen Choice Awards and five People's Choice Awards.

Expect to hear her fan favourites Tell Me You Love Me and Sorry Not Sorry as she takes to the stage.
 

 



Dubai World Cup: March 25

Catch Dubai's action-packed horse racing season as it hits a resounding peak of glamour and competition at the Dubai World Cup.

A highlight in the sporting and social calendar, this race meeting is considered one of the world’s most spectacular race day, where the total prize purse for the race card, which will feature six Group 1 and three Group 2 fixtures, is worth $30.5 million.
