Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities has launched a master’s programme in religious studies.
The Master's in Religious Studies is intended for graduates from the humanities and social sciences fields, as well as the education, tolerance and coexistence, economics, management, communications, public relations, and other related areas of study.
Graduates of the programme will acquire skills in cultural communication, scientific and social research, and the analysis of interconnected human beliefs. These skills are in demand due to the increasingly multicultural global work environment, particularly in the UAE where 200 nationalities coexist.
This programme highlights religious diversity and the spirit of coexistence and tolerance in the UAE, supporting government initiatives to promote religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence globally.
The Chancellor of Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, His Excellency Dr Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, said: “The Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities is moving forward with its mission to enhance its scientific and academic role locally, regionally and internationally. The university aims to embody its leadership in humanities and social studies by offering academic courses that meet students' desires to acquire knowledge in these fields. The design of the university's postgraduate programs is consistent with its plans and strategy to support the country’s development, growth, and scientific research efforts.”
