Dubai to launch regulated home gardening service through Careem

Dubai residents will soon be able to book licensed home gardening and landscaping services through the Careem app under a new government-backed initiative launching in September.

The Al Freej Gardener initiative, led by Dubai Municipality in partnership with Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs and Careem, is designed to regulate home gardening services by connecting residents with qualified and licensed providers through a single digital platform.

Residents will be able to arrange services including home gardening, regular maintenance, irrigation system installation and maintenance, landscaping and agricultural advice, while participating companies must comply with government licensing and regulatory requirements.

Officials say the initiative will improve service quality, strengthen safety and security standards, promote sustainable gardening practices and make it easier for residents to access trusted gardening professionals across Dubai.
