The UAE will join the Syrian community for a major celebration of their country's cultural and civilisational heritage, at Expo City Dubai on November 22.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, will attend the event alongside senior diplomats and community leaders.
Organised under the 'Emirates Loves Syria' initiative, the celebration aims to honour the deep historic ties between the UAE and Syria and strengthen people-to-people connections.
Taking place at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City, the event is expected to draw around 20,000 attendees.
It will feature music and artistic performances, traditional heritage activities, cultural exhibitions and dialogue sessions showcasing Syrian arts.
Community gatherings, presentations of new Syrian creative and culinary projects, and an honours ceremony for distinguished achievers are also planned.
