Two of the world’s rarest jewelry masterpieces have been unveiled at the Dubai Diamond Exchange (DMCC).

These include The Eternal Pink, the most significant pink diamond to come to market and the Estrela de FURA, the largest and most valuable ruby ever to appear at auction.

Both gemstones will be on public view at Sotheby’s DIFC Gallery from May 23 to May 26, ahead of the Magnificent Jewels sale in New York in which they will be sold on June 8.

Sophie Stevens, Head of Jewellery at Sotheby’s Dubai said that The Eternal Pink is estimated to achieve over $35 million, while the Estrela de FURA is expected to fetch more than $30 million.

“Having firmly established Dubai’s status as a global diamond trade hub, we are excited to be hosting a range of tenders this year on our diamond exchange floor both for diamonds as well as coloured gemstones including rubies, sapphires and emeralds," said Feryal Ahmadi, Chief Operating Officer, DMCC.
