Dubai Ride cyclists to enjoy free bike rentals

Dubai Ride participants can once again enjoy free bike rentals, thanks to a partnership between Careem and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

On Sunday, November 2, the event's participants can unlock a free single-trip pass on Careem app using the promo code DR25 and pick up a bike from either of Careem’s pop-up stations — Entrance A: Museum of the Future or Entrance E: Lower Financial Centre Street — or from any of the 200+ Careem Bike stations across Dubai

Bikes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with no extra charges for rides exceeding 45 minutes during this period.

Hussain Al Banna, CEO of the RTA's Traffic and Roads Agency, said the initiative supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a bicycle-friendly city, while Careem’s Chief Business Officer Bassel Al Nahlaoui added that the partnership helps make the event more inclusive and promotes cycling as a healthy, sustainable way to get around.

To redeem the free ride:

• Download the Careem app, tap “Bike,” select “Single Trip Pass,” and apply DR25 at checkout.
• Head to one of the designated entrances or any Careem Bike station.
• Bring your own helmet and register on the Dubai Ride website.
• Card details are required for security, but no charges will apply during the event.

Dubai Ride routes open at 6:15 AM and close by 8:00 AM.
