Dubai Police officers visit schools to connect with students

Dubai Police station directors and their deputies visited schools across the emirate as students began the 2026-27 academic year.

Officers met pupils from different Arab and international communities, giving students an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the role of police in their neighbourhoods.

The visits included discussions about school safety, positive behaviour and how young people should respond to situations they may encounter both inside and outside school.

They form part of Dubai Police's School Security initiative, which aims to strengthen links between police and educational institutions while improving safety and traffic awareness among students.

Dubai Police said direct interaction with officers can help young people better understand their role in the community and build trust and communication.

Students and parents were also reminded about safety when boarding and leaving school buses, while motorists were urged to take extra care around schools and follow traffic regulations.

Dubai Police said further awareness sessions will be held for students and teaching staff across the emirate.

Police patrols have also be increased around schools during morning arrival and afternoon departure times to help manage traffic and improve safety.
