The seventh edition of the premier team-based sporting event, Dubai Games, is set to kick off on Thursday, February 12, with challenges designed to test both physical and mental endurance.
For the third year in a row, the Games will begin with the Cities bonus-points challenge at Burj Khalifa, where all 56 teams competing in the Battle of the Cities will race up the staircase of the world’s tallest building for crucial bonus points.
Scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, the challenge marks the highest number of participating cities since the tournament’s launch.
The main competitions start on February 12 with the Battle of the Government, featuring two heats of the Men’s category, with qualifying teams moving on to the finals on February 15.
On February 13, action continues with the third men’s heat at 3:00 pm, followed by the Battle of the Community at 6:40 pm. Teams will tackle eight challenging obstacle zones, testing strength, teamwork and strategy.
On February 14, the Women’s Battle of the Government kicks off at 9:00 am, followed by two more heats of the Battle of the Cities in the afternoon.
The tournament draws teams from around the world, highlighting its growing global stature.
The Games conclude on February 15, starting at 8:00 am with the Battle of the Juniors, featuring 56 teams on age-appropriate courses.
The finals include the Women’s Battle at 3:00 pm, Men’s Battle at 4:30 pm, and the Battle of the Community at 6:00 pm.
The Battle of the Cities final and the awards ceremony will wrap up the event at 7:30 pm.
Winning teams will share a prize pool of more than AED 4 million, awarded across the Men’s and Women’s Battles of the Government, the Battle of the Community, the Battle of the Juniors, and the top 10 teams in the Battle of the Cities.
