A new initiative has been launched between The Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and Google to support local F&B businesses in Dubai.
Titled "Map Your Dubai: Insider Edition", the initiative allows local guides to write and share their favorite restaurants and cafes on Google Maps.
11 insider-curated lists are currently shared on the official campaign portal, featuring more than 100 homegrown restaurants, cafés, and neighbourhood dining concepts across Dubai, giving residents and visitors a simple way to discover new venues and support local businesses directly through the Google Maps application.
Audiences can also vote for their favourite list between June 22 and July 6, with the winning local guides to be celebrated across official social channels.
The initiative was launched during an exclusive Breakfast Club experience at the historic Etihad Museum. It is developed as part of 'From Dubai, For Dubai', DET’s community-led movement to support the people, businesses, and ideas that shape everyday life in the city.
