Abu Dhabi is expanding its public transport network with two new bus services designed to improve connections to the UAE's national passenger rail network.
Abu Dhabi Mobility has introduced the MR1 and MR2 routes, linking Mohammed bin Zayed City Train Station with Abu Dhabi Main Bus Station and Al Zahya Bus Station, making it easier for passengers to travel to the station before boarding Etihad Rail services and continue their journeys by bus after arriving.
The authority says the routes have been introduced to improve integration between bus and rail services, offering residents and visitors more convenient public transport connections across the capital.
The move supports Abu Dhabi's wider efforts to create a more seamless public transport network as Etihad Rail's passenger services continue to expand.
