US prosecutors say Britain's Prince Andrew not cooperating in Epstein probe

US Prosecutors have accused Britain's Prince Andrew for failure to participate in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking probe.

They added that Andrew had "sought to falsely portray himself to the public as eager and willing to cooperate" and had repeatedly evaded requests for an interview.

However, lawyers of Andrew, Queen Elizabeth's second son, put the blame back on the prosecutors. They accused the American investigators of seeking publicity and ignoring Andrew's offer to help the US Department of Justice three times this year.

Epstein was found dead in a New York prison cell last year while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
