Sierra Leone set to be declared as free of Ebola

The World Health Organisation is set to announce that Sierra Leone is Ebola-free. It’s as 42 days pass since the last patient to suffer from the virus was discharged. It comes 18 months after Ebola was first reported in the West African nation. Almost 4,000 people there have died as a result of the epidemic, with a further 10,000 suffering from it.
