Operations at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh were suspended on Saturday after an attack on the airport caused injuries, the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X, the authority noted that the airport's operations will remain suspended until the damage is fully assessed and the safety of the facility is verified in coordination the relevant authorities.
It added that the exact number of injuries is being assessed as well.
The airport had been targeted twice earlier this week, including an attack that killed three people on Friday.
