Qatar's Ministry of Defence has announced its interception of 6 ballistic missiles and 2 cruise missiles on Saturday.
The ministry added that a total of 10 ballistic missiles and 2 cruise missiles launched by Iran had targeted the country. Apart from those intercepted, 2 ballistic missiles fell into its territorial waters, while another 2 landed in an uninhabited area, with no casualties reported.
The authority reaffirmed its readiness to protect the sovereignty of the country and respond to any external threat.
It further called on its community to remain reassured, adhere to security instructions, and avoid spreading rumors by relying on official statements from relevant authorities.
