Eight killed as migrant boat sinks off western Turkey

At least eight people have died after a dinghy carrying migrants capsized off Turkey's western coast on Monday.

According to the state-run Anadolu news agency, 31 others have been rescued.

Search and rescue operations were launched by the coast guard to reach the passengers of the boat, which sunk off the coast of the Bodrum district in the Mugla province.
