The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met with President Joseph Biden of the United States of America at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Friday.
The meeting was held in the presence of Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.
Saudi Press Agency said the two leaders reviewed the historical relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America and ways to strengthen them to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields.
The United States and Saudi Arabia signed 18 agreements and memoranda of understanding for joint cooperation in the fields of energy, investment, communications, space and health during a visit by US President Joe Biden to the Kingdom, Saudi state TV reported.
Some of the agreements were signed between Saudi ministries of energy and investment; the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu; and some private sector companies and US companies, including Boeing BA.N and Raytheon RTX.N in the defence industry; Medtronic MDT.N, Digital Diagnostics, IQVIA in the healthcare sector; and a number of other American companies in the fields of energy, tourism, education, manufacturing and textiles, according to Saudi state news agency (SPA).
