German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will meet with each other in the near future.
That's according to a spokesman for the German government, who said more details would be announced later.
Speaking at a news conference, Steffen Seibert said the German government still wants an orderly Brexit to happen.
He said the more it's delayed, the more difficult it gets for the UK to leave the European Union with a deal.
