The actor who played Chewbacca in the Star Wars films has died.
Peter Mayhew’s family have announced that he passed way in his Texas home at the age of 74.
The British-American actor played giant Wookiee warrior Chewbacca in the original Star Wars trilogy which debuted in 1977.
He also played the roles in later films until 2015.
