Global outages plagued social media platform X, previously known as Twitter, on Thursday.
Downdetector.com, a service monitoring outages, reported over 47,000 users in the United States encountering access problems with both X and X Pro.
Users are additionally experiencing difficulties viewing posts, greeted instead with a message reading "Welcome to X!"
Elon Musk, the owner of X, has been approached for comment.
