Popstar Rihanna and rapper ASAP Rocky are said to have become parents once again, welcoming their second child.
According to entertainment news website, TMZ, the Diamonds singer gave birth to a baby boy earlier this month.
The most recent addition to the family arrived on August 3 in Los Angeles, as stated by the publication.
While the newborn's name remains undisclosed, TMZ has noted that the name begins with an R, akin to that of his elder sibling, RZA Athelaston Meyers.
Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime show performance in February 2023. Taking to the stage at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, she was spotted cradling her stomach during her performance - a gesture many viewers interpreted as indicating a pregnancy. Later, representatives for the Fenty Beauty founder confirmed the speculation in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
This latest news arrives just one year after Rihanna and partner A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, celebrated the birth of their first son, RZA, in May 2022.
In celebration of their son's first birthday, the rapper shared an assortment of heartwarming snapshots showcasing their growing family on Instagram. "Wu Tang iz 4 da churen [sic]. Happy first birthday to my firstborn. Rza [red heart emoji]," read his caption, accompanied by candid familial moments from the past year featuring Rocky, Rihanna and RZA.
