Modern Family's 'Gloria' top paid TV actress for fifth year

Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has retained her title as the highest paid actress on US television, for the fifth time. The Forbes Rich List says she earned $43 million over the last year for her role as ‘Gloria’ and through product endorsements. It’s more than any male TV stars. Meanwhile the highest new entry on the list was Priyanka Chopra – who was ranked eighth – with $11 million. She’s already a house-hold name in India – and is about to become well-known to other audiences, as she’s starring in Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson – who’s the world's highest paid actor.
