Kate Hudson has ended her romance with Nick Jonas. The 36-year-old actress reportedly decided to call time on her burgeoning relationship with the 'Jealous' hitmaker because she didn't like the idea of Nick touring with Demi Lovato. A source told Life & Style Weekly: "Kate felt Nick wouldn't be able to maintain his commitment to her while he's on the road." Rather than trying to sustain a relationship under those circumstances, Kate has apparently decided she would prefer to be single. The source added: "She thought it was best to remain single." Meanwhile, Kate recently conceded it can "hard" balancing her career and her family life. The 'Wish I Was Here' star said it can be a tough to focus on both her job and raising her two children, sons Ryder, 11 and Bingham, four. She revealed: "I think a lot of people, especially when you're a woman, you have kids, and work on movies, it's hard because you're away from them. There's nothing lazy about it. "You go to work, get on the first plane home even if it's for eight hours, go back to work. I don't want to be away from my family, I love it so much. I just enjoy being on movie sets."
