The legendary Pakistani band Junoon is heading to Global Village for a live concert.
The famed rock trio will perform on the main stage of the multicultural festival park on Friday, March 20.
Regarded as one of the finest acts to emerge from Pakistan, Junoon conquered music charts in the 1990s and early 2000s with a slew of critically acclaimed albums such as Inquilaab, Azadi, and Parvaaz.
The group, which reunited in 2018, following a 13-year time away is certain to bring crowds to their feet with their signature blend of western rock and elements of Pakistani folk music and rich lyricism.
Fans can look forward to all their hit numbers, including Sayonee, Yaar Bina Dil, Sajna, and Tara Jala among others.
Entry is included in the festival park’s AED 15 ticket.
