One of the stars of the new Star Wars film, "The Force Awakens", says she’s not ready for the fame the part will bring. Daisy Ridley was a little-known actress, until she was picked by J J Abrams to play the scavenger Rey. The Brit told Reuters "It's not ever something I pictured so it's a very odd thing, very odd. "I started auditioning two years ago ... and it took like seven months and five auditions and then I got cast," Ridley said. "I think they were just seeing many, many girls because obviously, if they weren't, then I would never have been seen." The movie was partly filmed in the UAE, with Abu Dhabi providing the landscape for Jakku - a frontier desert planet in a remote section of the Outer Rim Territories. A massive crew of 650 actors, extras and technicians spent several months working in the Emirate from May last year. The regional premiere of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will take place in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, with tickets available to the public from Thursday.
