The American pop star took to social media to open up to her fans about her mental health.
In a series of Tweets, the 29-year-old confessed that she had been suffering from fluctuating moods and had been diagnosed as a bipolar.
She tells fans that she is "not ashamed" of her condition and does not want to be felt sorry for.
The I Got You singer also expressed excitement towards her next album, calling it her "favourite album ever".
