Abu Dhabi's Integrated Transport Centre and the developer Miral have signed an agreement to boost Yas Island's infrastructure.
It's part of the efforts to support the Island as a top global destination.
The deal will explore options to improve public transport commuting in the area.
Researchers will look at the potential for on-demand services, including an "Abu Dhabi Link" for residents and visitors.
The emirate recently announced a similar scheme for several suburban districts.
