Etihad Airways has become the first foreign airline to operate to Jeddah's new terminal 1.
The flight was welcomed by a traditional water cannon salute followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the new terminal.
According to WAM, the flight operated on Etihad’s Dreamliner with the distinctive Kingdom of Saudi Arabia livery.
