Dubai is taking another major step toward smarter, more sustainable transport.
The Dubai Taxi Company and its strategic partner Bolt have joined forces with Kabi by Al Ghurair, along with the UAE’s homegrown ride-hailing app Zed, in a strategic alliance aimed at transforming the ride-hailing experience across the city.
Under the deal, 6,200 Dubai Taxi vehicles and 3,680 Kabi taxis will be fully integrated into the Bolt and Zed platforms — giving customers faster access to rides, shorter wait times and improved service.
The move supports Dubai’s goal to shift 80 per cent of taxi trips to e-hailing, in line with the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) vision for smart, sustainable transport.
The partnership also comes as Dubai’s taxi sector saw a 7 per cent growth in the first half of 2025.
