India’s national carrier Air India is to hold meetings with Boeing to discuss frequent glitches in the Dreamliner 787-800 aircraft. The meeting comes after Air India’s engineers' body urged the company to defer further delivery of the aircraft, until the US manufacturer resolved its reliability issues. Air India has had to repeatedly ground the aircraft due to malfunctions. On Monday, a Singapore-bound plane from Chennai was grounded after one of its engines shut down during landing. There were two other recent incidents due to software and technical issues.
