World's largest gathering of futurists kicks off in Dubai

The Dubai Future Forum, the world’s largest gathering of futurists, has brought together over 2,500 participants from around 100 countries.

The third edition of the event, taking place at the Museum of the Future from November 19-20, features more than 150 speakers, including government leaders, CEOs and thought leaders, and offers 70 sessions focused on shaping global strategies for the future.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, attended the forum on Tuesday.

He highlighted Dubai’s role as a global leader in shaping the future and emphasised the importance of uniting futurists, academics and policymakers to turn visionary ideas into reality.

The forum also features the 'Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity' exhibition, showcasing 100 innovative global projects addressing the world’s most pressing challenges.

Sheikh Hamdan also met graduates of the FEEL and Dubai Future Experts programmes, both designed to equip future leaders with the skills to drive innovation and transformation.

Day 1 of the forum included plenary sessions and workshops on topics like health, AI and sustainability, further cementing the event’s role as a global platform for future-focused dialogue and collaboration.
