Engineers at Dubai's Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) have used a 3D printer to create parts for a prototype of the MBZ-Sat satellite.

It's to make sure the parts will assemble perfectly before proceeding with the actual manufacturing.

MBZ-SAT will become the second UAE satellite to be fully developed and built by a team of Emirati engineers, after the KhalifaSat.

It is expected to be launched in 2023.
