Services on Dubai Metro's Red Line have resumed after a technical glitch disrupted morning commute for several officegoers on Wednesday.
Operations were initially suspended at Sharaf DG station around 8:45 am, and nearly three hours later disruptions were reported at four other stations as well.
Shuttle buses had been deployed to transport passengers between the affected stations.
In a Tweet, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that the issue has now been resolved and services have returned to normal.
Please be informed that the technical malfunction has been resolved and the affected metro stations are operating normally. We thank all metro users for their cooperation.
