The UAE has sent an aircraft carrying medical aid to Damascus, Syria.
Dispatched by the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), the plane containing aid supplies has been sent to help health authorities in the Arab country contain the spread of COVID-19.
It also aims to assist the Syrian medical sector and frontline medical workers in treating coronavirus patients.
