The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has shared early on Monday that air defence systems are responding to a missile threat.
The authority has advised the community to remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.

The Ministry of Defence also asserted that the sounds heard are the result of the forces intercepting missiles and drones.
