UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded Elison Milton, Ireland’s Ambassador to the UAE, the First Class Order of Zayed II in recognition of her efforts in strengthening relations between the two countries during her tenure.
The medal was presented by Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dubai.
Al Marar conveyed the UAE leadership’s appreciation for the ambassador’s role in enhancing cooperation between the UAE and Ireland across various sectors, and wished her success in her future duties.
Ambassador Milton expressed pride in receiving the honour, describing it as a reflection of the strong ties and cooperation between the two countries.
She also thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and praised the UAE’s achievements and international standing, while expressing appreciation to government entities in the UAE for their support during her diplomatic mission.
