Senior officials from the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment visited key border crossings on Saturday to assess the flow of food and essential goods into the country.
Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry, led a delegation to the Khatm Al Shakla and Muzeid crossings, where they reviewed procedures to ensure supplies are moving efficiently.
The visit focused on monitoring the availability, quality and safety of goods entering the UAE, as part of ongoing efforts to safeguard food security.
Officials said the country’s infrastructure and supply networks are designed to maintain steady imports and support the continued availability of essential commodities.
