The UAE's latest mediation effort between Russia and Ukraine has led to the release of 160 captives from each side.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says this brings the total number of captives exchanged through UAE-mediated efforts to 7,791.
It described the operation as the 25th successful mediation of its kind, and thanked both countries for their cooperation and for supporting the UAE’s role as a trusted mediator.
The Ministry reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to continuing efforts aimed at reaching a peaceful resolution to the conflict and easing its humanitarian impact, including on captives and refugees.
