UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has extended his sincere wishes to the people of the UAE and around the world to mark the start of the holy month of Ramadan on Tuesday.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed highlighted that "Ramadan is a time for reflection and generosity, and an opportunity to strengthen bonds within families and communities".

He also sent congratulatory messages to the Kings, Emirs, and Presidents of Arab and Islamic nations, wishing them and their people continued good health, well-being, progress and prosperity.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, shared similar greetings for the blessed month.
Sheikh Mohammed described it as "a generous month and a virtuous season… the month of goodness and giving, strengthening family ties, family gatherings, and the purification of souls".
