UAE launches Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade

In a significant move to enhance the capabilities of the UAE Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense has announced the inauguration of the Khalifa bin Zayed II Airborne Brigade Command, now under the Presidential Guard Command.

The announcement was made during a grand ceremony held in the Al Samih area, which saw the participation of top leaders of the UAE.

The inauguration comes under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The event marked the swearing-in of the brigade’s flag, with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, serving as the patron of the ceremony.
