The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued a rain alert for most parts of the country, with increased showers forecast from Thursday evening.
The weather bureau issued an orange and yellow alert on Wednesday, with the public warned of a drop in visibility due to rising dust from strong winds, with forecasts for hail and thunder.
Meanwhile, the NCM also clarified to ARN News that there is no possibility of tornadoes in the region.
