The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) in Pakistan has distributed 800 Iftar packs in Balochistan province to support the underprivileged during the holy month of Ramadan.
It covered the areas of Pasni, Gwadar, and Panjgur.
It is part of the ERC's ‘Ramadan Continuous Giving’ campaign that is set to benefit around 1.8 million people in the UAE and 44 countries around the world.
The UAE's Ramadan initiatives include ‘Iftar Meals’, ‘Zakat Al Fitr’, ‘Eid Clothing’, ‘Ramadan Food Parcels’, and ‘Iftar’, totalling an initial cost of AED 37.6 million and aims to mitigate the deteriorating living conditions in many countries.
