UAE, German foreign ministers discuss boosting economic ties

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has discussed ways to further deepen bilateral ties during a phone call with his German counterpart Johann Wadephul.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the UAE and Germany, highlighting the strong and growing strategic partnership that unites the two nations.

The ministers discussed ways to expand cooperation across vital sectors, reaffirming their shared commitment to advancing joint progress and prosperity, national news agency Wam reported.

The call underscored both countries’ dedication to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations, building on decades of close cooperation and mutual respect.

Sheikh Abdullah also wished Wadephul on his appointment in May and wished him success in his new role.
