The UAE has expressed solidarity with the Sudanese people after a devastating landslide in the Darfur region killed over a 1,000 people and destroyed the village of Tarasin in the mountainous Jebel Marra area.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) conveyed the UAE’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families and to the people of Sudan following this tragedy.
The ministry also highlighted that the UAE stands in solidarity with the Sudanese people during this difficult time.
