A UAE delegation has visited Qatar to offer condolences following the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
During their visit to Lusail Palace in Doha, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, conveyed their sympathies to Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The two UAE leaders also extended their condolences to the Al Thani family and the people of Qatar, and prayed for the deceased.
They were accompanied by Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency; Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of Health and Prevention; and a number of senior officials.
The UAE delegation was received on arrival in Doha by Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.
