The Joint Assessment Team for Weather & Tropical Cases announced a 'tropical storm' had passed without affecting the UAE after thoroughly monitoring the Arabian Sea.
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) took to its official Twitter account to make the announcement on Saturday.
NCEMA had teamed up with the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) and was collaborating with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Defence to discuss all scenarios, the scope of the influence, and set up precautionary measures.
