UAE announces 822 new cases of COVID-19, 601 recoveries

The UAE has announced 822 new cases of COVID-19.

According to Dr. Amna Al Dahak Al Shamsi, the official spokesperson of the UAE Government, this now brings the total number of cases to 30,307

This comes after more than 41,000 tests were conducted nationwide in the latest wave of tests and two million coronavirus tests carried out by health authorities to date in the country.

Dr Amna revealed that three people have died from the virus, which makes the total number of deaths 248 in the country.
 
She also clarified that 601 more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 15,657.
