The UAE has confirmed 2,289 new cases of COVID-19 from 223,799 tests.
Another 2,422 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 443,153.
Meanwhile, six more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,492.
A total of 459,360 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 14,715 are currently active.
Rainy weather to continue nationwide until Friday night
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) says the UAE will remain under the influence of a rainy weather system until Friday night, driven by a main weather front over the far western regions, where scattered heavy rainfall has already been recorded.
