UAE and Cyprus Presidents urge all parties to adhere to Gaza ceasefire

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his counterpart from Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides have urged all parties to adhere to the Gaza ceasefire as its crucial to open up aid deliveries to the Strip.

During a phone call, the leaders emphasised the need to build on the agreement as a step towards achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace based on the two-state solution in a manner that ensures regional security and stability.

The leaders also discussed bilateral cooperation and mutually beneficial opportunities to strengthen ties, particularly in economic and development-focused sectors.
