The United Arab Emirates air defences were responding to missile and drone threats on Sunday morning, according to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
NCEMA posted on their X account at 6:47am warning that sounds heard by the public were air defence systems in action intercepting missiles:

The MOD also posted on their X account at 6:49am warning the public to remain in a safe place and adhere to safety protocols:
