Space exploration helped by increased collaboration, reduced gender gap

Experts have called for further collaboration in the field of space exploration. Dr Mae Jemison, who was one of the first women to travel in space, has been in the UAE for the Eye on Earth summit in Abu Dhabi. She spoke to ARN about the industry.

Dr Jemison also says that the gender gap is reducing when it comes to space exploration. She believes we need to encourage more women into the fields of science and engineering, in order to increase those numbers even further.
